Suzuki e-Access 2025 launched in market with stylish look, check price

Suzuki e-Access 2025 : Amid the strengthening competition in the Indian electric scooter space, Suzuki Motorcycle India has finally jumped into the bandwagon with the all-new e-Access 2025 — an electric avatar of the popular Access 125.

The petrol variant of the Access has for long been one of the go to choices for urban commuters offering reliability, comfort and value for money.

Now though, with the e-Access, Suzuki is looking to catch the EV wave, with the same proven DNA but without any of the fashioning emissions.

So, has Suzuki taken the easy route of electrifying a known quantity, or is there genuinely something new about the e-Access? Let’s take a closer look.

Design – While it Looks Traditional and Familiar it is Future-proof!

At least to start with, the e-Access 2025 shares the familiar profile of its petrol brother – basic, tidy and functional.

There’s additional aero optimisation in changes to the body panels, and the EV also picks up some contemporary touches, including sharp LED headlamps, new alloy wheels, and discreet blue EV badging.

Yet it’s still very commuter-friendly, with an upright seating position, ample floorboard space and sufficient under-seat stowage to swallow a helmet.

Suzuki hasn’t messed anything up — and that’s OK this time around.

Motor & Battery & Range: Designed for the City

The e-Access gets a 3.5kW electric motor, which also receives power from a lithium-ion battery pack to offer a real-world range of about 95-100 km on a full charge.

It’s built for daily commutes, short trips and running errands in the city — not for highway thrills or adrenaline junkies.

It can’t go any faster than 80 kmph and that speed is plenty for city roads. The acceleration is smooth and quiet, but as you start pushing the throttle it feels surprisingly zippy.

Three riding modes—Eco, Normal, and Power—enable you to switch between range and performance to suit your needs.

A full charge from a typical household socket takes around five hours and with the addition of a fast charge (optional) up to 80% in less than two hours.

It might not be the fastest in its class, but make no mistake: It’s still very fast.

Ride Comfort & Handling

Suzuki hasn’t cut corners with the ride quality. The telescopic front suspension and monoshock rear take potholes and speed breakers well.

Its low center of gravity provides it good balance, and the scooter feels planted even at faster speeds.

The seat is broad and plush and is comfortable for both the rider as well as the pillion. The scooter also offers fair ground clearance and a compact turning radius—handy in crowded Indian roads.

Features & Technology

The e-Access also features an all-digital instrument cluster that shows range, speed as well as riding modes, battery status and other connectivity alerts.

It features Bluetooth enabled smartphone connectivity for navigation alerts, incoming calls, and display of riding statistics using the Suzuki RideConnect app.

Other features worth mentioning:

Regenerative braking

USB charging port

Side-stand cutoff

Anti-theft alerts

Keyless start with smart key

In terms of safety, the e-Access comes with combi-braking system (CBS) and front disc brakes for improved stopping power.

Pros and Cons

Suzuki e-Access 2025: Final Verdict

Suzuki e-Access 2025 isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel. Instead, it is all about giving you a dependable, comfortable, and easy-to-use electric experience using the best elements from a proven scooter.

It may not catch as many eyes as some of its flashier rivals, but it’s designed for the practical Indian commuter who wants to go electric without making a gamble.

If you’ve loved the Access 125 for its attributes and you’re looking to cross over to EVs, this is as safe and sensible a bet as it comes.

For daily commuting, too, the Suzuki e-Access 2025 sounds about right — and given the fact that nothing would seem more fitting about the e-Access 2025, that just might be its greatest attribute.
